INCREASE IN STANDARD RATE FOR BUSINESS MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT: Effective July 1, 2008, the Internal Revenue Service has increased the standard rate for business mileage reimbursement from 50.5 cents per mile to 58.5 cents per mile.
• Saint Joseph College will also increase the mileage rate used to calculate employee reimbursement of approved business travel to 58.5 cents per mile, for all reimbursable miles traveled after June 30, 2008. Please use this new rate on any travel reimbursement requests submitted after that date.
