|
Select the Content Layout
called Blank. It is the first choice.
|
|
On the Drawing Toolbar, select the Text Box (looks like sheet of
paper with lines and has a letter A in the corner)
|
|
Draw a textbox on the slide
by dragging and dropping with the mouse; but be sure to place this textbox in
approximately the same location in the slide as shown in the model. Don’t worry about the size (height and width),
as these will automatically change to adjust once the text is typed. Click inside the textbox, and then click on
the WordArt button on the Drawing Toolbar.
This button is a large blue A that is slightly slanted. From the WordArt options shown, select the
one that looks like the one shown on the model, and type in the text in the
dialogue window, replacing the existing text.
The hit Ok to return to the slide.
|
|
Now create another textbox
(see above directions). Click in the
textbox and type the text, “Presented by … your name. Position the textbox to look like the one
in the model.
|
|
To insert the picture of the
tiger, go to the Insert menu and select Insert Picture from Clip Art. Do a search for a tiger, and insert the
picture. Position it so it looks like
the one in the model.
|
|
Now insert a
background. Go to the Format menu and
select Background. In the dialogue
box, notice that there is a dropdown arrow with a blank window next to it. Hit the drop down arrow, and select Fill
Effects. On the Fill Effects screen, select the tab
called Textures. Select the third
texture in the first row (parchment.)
Click ok. On the next dialogue
box, BE SURE TO SELECT APPLY. DO
NOT SELECT APPLY TO ALL.
|
|
You have finished the basics
for slide one. Animation will be added
later. To do the next slide, look for
the New Slide button in the right top of the screen; the button is marked
“New Slide.”
