Find the ELeet
Icon on the Windows screen to open the program
Type
in the college address in the URL line: www.sjc.edu
On
the next line, be sure to change http to ftp by using the drop-down arrow
On
the next line, type in your user name
On
the last line, type in your password
Hit
OK
Accessing your
User drive and Web folder once you come to two-pane screen in ELeet
On
the left side of the screen, use the drop-down arrow to locate your User
account on the U drive
Once
you access your User account on the U drive, specifically open your Web folder
You
should then see all of the files in your Web folder on the left side of the
screen. To select all of these files,
follow these steps:
·
Highlight
the first file—but don’t click to open it
·
While
holding down the shift key on the keyboard, click on the last file in the list,
so all files become highlighted
·
Let
go of the shift key
·
With
the mouse, drag and drop all of the files from the left side while facing the
screen (User account on the local drive) to the remote site shown on the right
side of the screen Be careful to
continue to hold down the mouse while you drag and drop to make this transfer
·
If
you get an error message, the files still may have transferred. Check on the Internet. If not all of the files are on the Internet,
go back into Word Web and examine the files that did not have a check mark in
the status column after you did the transfer.
You might need to go back into these files to correct errors. Please let me know if you need help at this
point.
Accessing your Web site
Your
URL on the Internet will be the college address, followed by information for
accessing students’ sites, and then your first initial and last name, as shown
in the example below.
