*     Purpose and Background

The purpose of this project is to integrate computers effectively into your teaching.  Over the course of the next 2 weeks, integrate computer technology into your teaching.  Ideally, if possible, use a tool program (e.g., Excel, Kid Pix Deluxe, Crunchers, Diorama Designer, Timeliner, Community Construction Kit, Storybook Weaver, Map Making Toolkit, Graph Club, Geometer's Sketchpad, Neighborhood Map Machine, Rainforest Designer etc.).

Evaluation

This assignment allows for a wide range of responses, though specific criteria will be applied to evaluate all students' work. These criteria are

 Evidence of successful implementation of the technology in the classroom (written lesson plan, written or poster directions used with students, samples of student work collected in a folder, portfolio, or other appropriate means)

 Demonstrated insights into how the software can be used in a teaching situation (e.g., explanation/demonstration for our class).
