Six: Process Analysis of Letter Writing Assignment
Respond to both prompts.
Write
a journal entry describing, discussing, and analyzing the process that you used
to write your letter. What strategies worked for your letter? How would you
analyze your process of doing this assignment? What might you do differently
next time? (See the example of a process analysis given at the end of the
letter writing chapter in Call to Write.
What
types of feedback do you like on papers you submit? Where do you like to have
the comments written? Do you like comments in the margin? Comments
at the end? Would you prefer no writing on your copy? Do you think the
comments need to explain the grade? What kinds of comments do you find most
useful? In the past, have your teachers commented too much or not enough?
