Your task involves reading a document that defines what a Web Quest and how to structure one. After this background reading, you will participate in two activities to evaluate Web Quests. One activity will be completed in class, and the other will be completed at home, with three worksheets submitted to verify your completion of the second activity.

The purpose of evaluating Web Quests in advance of creating your own is to help you see not only what a Web Quest is, but to guide you in creating an excellent one for use in the classroom. By the end of this Web Quest, you will generate a list of topics for Web Quests and evaluate the topics’ appropriateness to creation of a Web Quest. You will then select one of the topics to build your Web Quest for EDUC570.
