http://www.teachertools.org/index.html
- This website has many, many different ideas for teacher items. When I reviewed them during my classroom
management class, I found a lot of examples that I used to inspire my own
versions, such as detention assignments, homework coupons, and substitute plans. The site also includes submissions of
lesson plans and games/puzzles. ·
http://www.biologycorner.com/worksheets.php
- This is a great website with many ideas in various science disciplines. It includes many lesson plans, webquests,
worksheets, and more. It is possible
that it will provide the perfect item for a unit, or it will give you the
inspiration/creativity to create what you need. ·
http://www.cwealf.org/programs/ctgirlstech.php
- The Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund offers opportunities to
expose girls to technology and related fields. The organization offers expos for girls,
and the website can help educators be aware of such events as they approach
so they can invite their students. ·
http://ww2.sjc.edu/difatta/PPGames.htm
- This former SJC student compiled several PowerPoint templates for popular
games, such as Jeopardy, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Hollywood Squares all designed by Mark
E. Damon. These would make any content
review a hit! I can’t wait to try them
in my own classroom! ·
http://jc-schools.net/tutorials/PPT-games/
- This site hosts more PowerPoint game templates like Wheel of Fortune and Are
You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I
would use them just as I mentioned above.
It’s going to be fun to review material! ·
http://classroom.4teachers.org/
- This website is titled “Classroom Architect.” It provides a grid and various items that
you can drag onto it allowing you to design your classroom. Items like desks and shelves are included,
but you can also draw shapes. When I
used this site, I used the drawing tool to create rectangles representing lab
benches. This site is a great tool for
teachers looking to rearrange their classroom. |
